A Visit from Greggs's Pasty Santa

This blog has offered me a lot of different and exciting opportunities, but so far one of the most memorable (and unusual) has got to be what happened to me at work the other Monday morning; Greggs's own special santa, Pasty Santa, paid my office a visit at lunch time with a ho-ho-whole lot of presents and festive food from Greggs' new Christmas range.

After getting over the initial shock of seeing a Santa costume in the first week of November, my work pals and I tucked into some tasty Greggs mince pies, the Christmas lunch sandwich, the Greggs festive flatbread and, my favourite of them all, the Christmas muffin. The Christmas muffin is a delicious, gooey, spiced muffin that's filled with custard and topped with the most adorable sugary icing decoration. It's a good thing layers are back in season because I'm not sure how many of these I could get away with scoffing otherwise.

Pasty Santa also gifted us some fun Christmas decorations (see hat below) that'll definitely be making an appearance at this year's Christmas party.

The office tucking into their first mince pies of the year.

The Christmas muffins. These lasted for a grand total of about 2 minutes after this photo was taken.

Thanks again to Greggs and Pasty Santa for brightening up our Monday morning and making sure we didn't go hungry! If you fancy winning a treat like this, just take a selfie using a Greggs #PastySanta bag and use the #PastySanta hashtag.

Have you tried any of Greggs's Christmas range?
