Jurlique Moisture Replenishing Day Cream Review

Jurlique Moisture Replenishing Day Cream Review

When I was given the opportunity to test out this Jurlique Moisture Replenishing Day Cream* several weeks back, I was very curious about how the results would pan out. Australian skincare brand Jurlique has been on my ‘must try’ list for quite some time now, and I’ve read nothing but positive reviews, but their not-too-tiny product prices were scary to say the least. So you can bet that after being kindly sent their moisturiser to review, I was intrigued as to whether the results could meet my expectations or – more importantly – their price point.

What's In My Festival Wash Bag

Festivals are undoubtedly one of my favourite things about UK summers and on Friday I'm happy to be heading back to Secret Garden Party to cram in a couple days of fun with my uni friends. Every year there's always the question of what to bring, so this time I thought I'd share some of what I'll be taking with me in my wash bag.

Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Beige Pop

After seeing the review Kate from gh0stparties.com posted of these little lipsticks a while back, I knew I had to get my hands on one of them to see if they could live up to all she had to say. Intense pigment, moisturisation and staying power for only £16? Is that even possible? Last week I had some money to spend on my Boots advantage card so I decided to be bold, brave and daring and pick the very tame and neutral Beige Pop to test the Pop Lip waters with.

got2b Oil-licious Dry Oil Mist and Styling Oil Review

got2b Oil-licious Dry Oil Mist and Styling Oil Review

It's time for me to be really honest and hold my hand up and say that I've been a right old snob when it's come to Got2b as a brand before now. I've always overlooked their products on shop shelves because of their busy packaging designs that never seem to really co-ordinate with one another (nitpicker over here if ya couldn't tell) and, despite their affordability, I'd never given them the time of day. Then the other week I was kindly sent these two products to review and I was so impressed that now I feel like a muppet, and I'd like to offer my sincerest apologies to everyone at Got2b and Schwarzkopf. Sorry.

Book Review: We Need to Talk About Kevin

A book review of We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver

This has been on my 'To Read' list for a very, very long time. After my new Kindle Paperwhite arrived (*hallelujah emoji*), We Need To Talk About Kevin was the first book I purchased and it's certainly left me ticking over with a few thoughts since I finished it. Written in 2003, Shriver seemed to target the US's growing hysteria over teenage mass shootings, which in the wake of the recent Charleston shooting still seems very relevant today.
