Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate Review

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate ReviewKiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate Review

Before I picked it up a few months ago, I'd seen this little blue bottle floating around various blogs for a couple years and I'd never ever seen a negative review. After not being left that impressed by the blogger-worshipped Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum, however (that I forked out a whopping £69 for), I had some serious trust issues with the Internet. But then I ran out of my beloved Estée Lauder Pore Minimizing Serum and noticed my skin was starting to look a little lacklustre every morning, so I finally decided to turn to Kiehl's for a cheaper alternative in my evening skincare routine... and I am so glad I did.

This facial oil promises to give you firmer, fresher and more radiant looking skin by morning - a mighty bold claim for just one night's use, no? When it came to my first time using Midnight Recovery Concentrate, I put two small pipette drops on my face (a little certainly goes a long way with this) and the next day was shocked to find it fulfilled each and every one of those promises. I have combination skin so it can always feel funny layering oil on top of oil, but by morning that oil's transformed into a healthy glow and skin honestly looks firm and radiant. Not only this, but any blemishes I have seem to either shrink or disappear completely, pores seem reduced and my skin is extremely smooth. I only wish I'd started using it sooner!

Its ingredients list is 99.8% natural and contains a blend of oils including Evening Primrose and Lavender (which you can definitely get a whiff of as soon as you open the bottle). It's £36 for a 30ml bottle but it lasts a surprisingly long time and is well worth the money, especially considering many specialty facial serums can cost £50+. My mum and sister can't get enough of it either and have both used up a bottle or two!

Have you tried Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate? What did you think?
