Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish in Black Out

Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine Nail Polish in Black Out

There's something so enjoyable about having black nail polish on when the sun is out. Maybe it's my love for Lauren Conrad and her perfectly manicured goth fingers in her Hills' glory days.. Or maybe it's because I'm a miserable old sod no matter the weather. Either way, this Rimmel polish has been on my fingers a lot lately and it's a great little polish to try if you fancy going monochrome.

Black Out is a very deep black that dries with an impressive shine. At only £2.99, these Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine nail polishes are incredible budget nail colours and come in a huge array of shades. While they don't fully dry in 60 seconds (yep, I timed), they're touch dry by then and I'd say one coat is completely dry within 3 minutes. I like to apply two coats of this shade to achieve a deep black, but that's easily done with the wide angled brush that makes application incredibly neat and painless. Black Out lasts on the nails for one or two days without chipping and after that the chipping is minimal.

There's very little to fault with this nail polish and it's one I know I'll continue to turn to again and again! Have you tried any 60 Seconds Super Shine nail polishes? What nail polish are you currently loving?
