March Favourites

March Favourites
March Favourites

I've been particularly broke in March so I've decided to 'shop my stash' and pick out some products that've been my favourites for a while now. It's always nice to rekindle an old flame, but I've also discovered a couple of great new and affordable items from Barry M along the way. There's nothing too flashy on this list - just some amazing products that I've turned to nearly every day this month that I thought I'd share with you lovely lot.

Sleek Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette in Fair. This has got to be one of my favourite makeup palettes ever. At only £9.99, this contour, blush and highlighter combo is an absolute bargain and rivals high end brands without a shadow of a doubt. The matte soft brown contour shade is the perfect tone for my pale skin and never makes me look orange, while the blush is an almost exact dupe for NARS Orgasm. The highlighter is very slightly peachy toned and great for adding a touch of glow to the face. The palette comes with a substantially sized mirror and has withstood all sorts of drops and knocks in my makeup bag without shattering, so it's an all-round winner in every category.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Lychee. I have a lot of love for the Gelly range - easy application, great staying power and some beautiful shades to choose from. This pale nude is one of those ideal seasonal 'transitional' shades that doesn't take much effort to pull off and will go with just about anything in your wardrobe.

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint in Pit Stop. This was only released in February so is my most recent purchase on the list, but it definitely deserves a place in my favourites. It's a lilac-toned grey that dries almost instantly, requires only 2 coats and has relatively good staying power. I'll be sure to upload a more in-depth post on it soon because I'm so impressed.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation in 1N2 Ecru. This firm blogger favourite has incredible coverage that's not too heavy or cakey, makes skin look airbrushed and lasts all the way through a 9 hour work shift. While I tend to favour more moisturising BB Creams in the winter, this foundation came straight out of my drawer at the first sign of spring and it feels good to have this old friend back in my life.

Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter. Is this a moisturiser? Is this a shower gel? Who knows? Either way it leaves skin super soft and clean and it feels like a dream to lather on. The smell isn't exactly for the faint nostrilled, but if you love almond and vanilla then it's going to be a new shower favourite.

Have you tried any of my monthly favourites? What have you been loving this month?
