Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadow in Smokey Quartz

I already mentioned this little number in my January Favourites, but I thought I'd give it more of an in-depth review so you can see it in action (on my hand, anyway). Bobbi Brown's Sparkle Eyeshadow in Smokey Quartz is a cool toned, greyish brown that I find suits my pale complexion. I normally shy away from very sparkly shadows in fear of looking like my former Year 7 self - but fear not - Bobbi Brown have really impressed me with this one.

There's a mix of pearl and sparkle in this powder that catches the light beautifully, and those chunks of glitter are big enough for me to distinguish it from any 'shimmer' eyeshadow I already own. As you can see it's not super pigmented, so I like to sweep it over my lid after I've applied the rest of my eyeshadow for a sparkly effect. I wouldn't opt for this in the day because it might be a little much, but it's perfect for an evening out. As with all sparkle eyeshadows, you can expect some fallout, but in comparison to others it's not bad. Be warned, however - one of those chunks of sparkle in your eye isn't pretty.

At £23 it's definitely at the luxury end of the budget, but you know that this is gonna last you for a long while. Have you tried any Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadows?
