Maybelline Super Stay Gel Nail Color in Rose Poudré

Maybelline Super Stay Gel Nail Color in Rose Poudré

My love for these affordable and durable polishes was something I discussed back in October, but another post can't hurt. Creme Eggs are making their way onto shelves and the days are getting longer, which means it's time to start thinking about spring and also to start putting down the dark and vampy nail colours I've refused to part with for most of the end of 2014.

Rose Poudré is a shade that I can't quite figure out. In the photo above it looks like a neutral light taupe or beige, but in certain lights it's a fairly bright and rosy pink. I actually find it fairly frustrating  because I end up struggling trying to find clothes that match its chameleon-like tendencies. I don't even know if the colour suits my fair skin or not. It's not exactly my most reached-for nail polish, but when I'm wearing neutrals then I know I can count on this for longevity and shine. Maybelline's flat, wide angled brush is one of my all-time favourites and the fact this colour only needs two coats and costs £4.49 is a big plus for me.

What do you think of this colour? Have you tried any Maybelline Super Stay nail polishes?
