LUSH Mint Julips Lip Scrub

LUSH Mint Julips Lip Scrub

Winter seems to suck the air straight out of my skin and hair, but the real victim always tends to be my lips. You won't find me in December without at least 3 lip balms in my pockets, but that still doesn't stop them from peeling. In a recent #bblogger chat, so many of you recommended using a LUSH Lip Scrub so I went ahead and took heed of your advice and picked one up the other day.

I was hesitant to fork out £5.50 for what looked like glorified pot of sugar, but I'm so glad I did. Yes you could make this in your kitchen, but by the time you spent money on the individual oils and pot, it would come to just as much as the LUSH version. And I'm lazy. In addition to the sugar, there's jojoba oil, vanilla extract, tagetes oil and peppermint oil so this little pot smells heavenly. With one tiny bit of sugar rubbed on the lips, my lips are completely soft, flake free and don't feel damaged in the process.

My only concern is that it tastes so delicious that I want to lick it off! I apply a lip balm straight after to stop me licking my lips and drying them out further.

Have you tried a LUSH lip scrub? What did you think?
