Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask

Origins have always been a great brand for me. Their Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask is one of my absolute skincare favourites, but when my pores are looking large and needing downsizing, I like to reach for my Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask. At £23 there are definitely cheaper charcoal face masks out there, but the squeezey tube makes it easy to apply and this stuff lasts for ages.

First, I like to hold a warm, wet towel over my face to open my pores before applying the mask generously in the places that need special attention (for me that's my nose and chin). I find this face mask to be very drying, so I avoid applying any near my eye area at all costs. I don't like to leave it on for too long - no more than 5 minutes - because any longer and I find that it stings. Then I wash it off with a warm muslin cloth and my pores are nearly completely gone and my skin is feeling soft. I only use this mask once every 2 weeks or so to refresh my skin because to be honest that's all it really needs!

Have you tried any Origins face masks? What's your go-to product for unblocking pores?
