The Affordable Nude Lip

Affordable Nude Lip
Affordable Nude Lip

I love a good nude (...lip, of course) and L'Oréal have really got this nude collection down. Firstly, I love the gold and black packaging and the tiny signatures are a nice touch. Secondly, I have very dry lips so I always need a lipstick that is packed full of moisture, and these definitely are. It almost feels like wearing a balm. It's a fairly sheer formula so it's great for lazy everyday wear, or if you fancy going for a heavy eye look. I'll warn you that some people really hate the scent, which is very sweet, but I'm actually a fan. Each to their own!

Being as pale as I am, I opted for Julianne Moore's pinky toned colour, which I found to my delight is an almost exact match with everyone's favourite Rimmel lip liner. The lip liner subtly cleans up those edges of your lips without making you look like Kylie Jenner. Together they create a great, simple nude that won't dry out your lips or take you into your overdraft.
