Moroccanoil vs. Argan Oil

Moroccanoil Treatment 100ml (£30.45)
Argan Oil Hair Treatment 100ml (£13)

I finally jumped onto the Moroccanoil bandwagon. Everyone couldn't stop saying how fantastic, great and amazing it was so I gave in and spent the £30 on a hair oil. My purse is crying right now. However I already owned a little hair oil bought from Boots over a year ago which I'd depended on ever since. Not taking it to university was one of the biggest mistakes I've made! Not only does it de-frizz and smooth hair but it also reduces drying time dramatically (how does it do that?!).

So I thought it would be interesting to see how these two compare. Granted, Moroccanoil only came in the post this morning but I am already impressed. The texture is much lighter and the smell is gorgeous. The packaging is also much more sturdy and I won't be scared of it leaking if I take it with me anywhere because it has a twist-close pump, unlike the Argan Oil. However aside from the smell, texture and packaging, the overall effect is still the same. Both dramatically smooth and soften hair and make it much more manageable and healthy looking.

I'm yet to see the long term effects of the Moroccanoil, but overall I definitely prefer it. I can't justify its price though when there are other hair oils on the market for less than half the price which do nearly the same job. If you're on a budget I highly recommend the Argan Oil and if not I'd say splash out on the Moroccanoil instead. I don't know how I coped before hair oils because they really do make such a difference. Are there any others I should try or do you think they all have roughly the same effect?
